How much do the RadioWise courses cost?
Course prices vary depending upon duration and the content. All prices can be found against each course on our website.

Does RadioWise offer any discounts?
RadioWise has researched the cost of courses and feel that these are the lowest entry level of any in the marketplace. In addition, we are one of the few companies bringing in radio professionals actively working at some of the biggest stations in the industry today.

Can I get any help to pay for the courses?
To see if you are eligible for subsidy you may wish to look at RadioWise’s Funding web page which we have created to signpost you to possible sources of subsidy.

When do I need to pay for my course?
Once you have expressed an interest in a course we will send you an invoice which we will expect you to honour. RadioWise require that all bookings and payment (in full) be received as soon as possible after you have made your booking and certainly by no later than 14 days prior to the course start date.

COURSE LOCATIONS

Where are the courses held?
RadioWise courses currently take place at our state of the art training facilities within Eagle Radio, Guildford. Please go to our ‘Where to Find Us’ web page for directions on how to get there.

Is accommodation available near to the training venues?
RadioWise are happy to recommend accommodation with our local contacts and knowledge, but booking/payment will be your own responsibility.

What are the dates of the RadioWise Courses?
All dates for RadioWise courses can be found on the Course Dates page of our website.

Are there a limited number of places for each course?
Depending on the course there are usually 4-6 students in each class; we keep numbers small to ensure maximum benefit to individuals, particularly where there is production elements to the course.

COURSE CONTENT

What will we cover on the courses?
The website gives an outline of the topics that will be covered but of course there will be much more that you will learn from our speakers. A full course breakdown and recommended reading list will be sent out when we confirm your course booking.

Who are the RadioWise speakers?
The website shows a snapshot of the 20 industry speakers that are registered with RadioWise. All RadioWise trainers have real radio experience from working in the radio industry currently (a quality not always found by other training courses).

Will I get any accreditation from the RadioWise Course?
You will receive a RadioWise Certificate of Completion at the end of your course. We are currently working to align the courses with other qualifications.

How do I book my course?
Complete the RadioWise application form (available on the website) and send it together with payment in full, no later than 14 days prior to the course start date to secure your place. Your place will be confirmed by return.

Will I be able to get a placement at a radio station through RadioWise?
Although the courses do not have a work experience element included, the opportunity to network with the speakers may help you get a ‘foot in the door’ of industry. Advice on how to shortcut the waiting lists will also be discussed during the course.
